I'm using the P4 practice pad to help develop independence. When I play on the 4 different surfaces, I can hear the differences
between the patterns being played on my left vs. my right hand. I think it is helping tremendously. When I take those patterns and
apply them to the drumset, it seems to make it easier than if I just had a regular practice pad. I also use the pad in conjunction
with the exercises in Pat Petrillo's book and DVD. I would definitely recommend the P4 as a helpful practice tool.
It was a simple yet brilliant design.

In a simple phrase, I can say that Pat's multilevel practice pad is "a heck of a lot of fun!"
After initially removing the pad from its carton while in my living room, I placed it on the coffee table and began to get the feel of the pad.
The pad remains there, still, being used daily for practicing grooves and fills and when doing rudimental stuff, using the different sounding materials
to discern right hand/left hand inconsistencies. Soon after receiving the pad, I sent Pat an e-mail telling my delight with the it.

Sam Ash Clinic Tour

Here's a review of a recent Sam Ash Clinic in New Haven, Ct. from Eric Wagnblas, Store Manager:

          "This was a terrific show!!  Pat was such a great guy and he put on one hell-uva performance.  He opened with a killer performance for

       about 10-15 minutes.  His playing was rock solid and he delivered fiercely.  Then Pat went over exercises and talked about technique

from "Hands, Grooves & Fills" his latest publishing.  He also answered questions from any and all who had them.

After the event, people  were still in the parking lot after I left the store talking about how good the show was and

 how great it sounded to them!  All in all, it was one of the best clinics we at Sam Ash, New Haven had in a long time.
