Pat's Endorsements

I am proud to endorse the following companies. Click on the logo link to visit the companies that I endorse. Here’s why I play them!

What can I say about Zildjian that hasn’t already been said? I’ve been an endorser for 10 years, and they are always creating new and exciting sound palates. I am working on a prototype splash with Paul Francis, and we hope to have it out in 2008. Click the link for my site on the Zildjian page.

I feel that the sound, look, and "vibe" of today's Ludwig drums is really great. The AR/management people are excellent, and their commitment to education has been there for years.  They are the drums I really want to play, and a company I want to be a part of.

Ludwig is the company that many top drummers are looking at these days because of their classic sound and rich history. They are the drums that many have tried to emulate over the years, and now they have returned..in a big way.

Remo Drumhead

As a kid, I got my first Remo drum pad when I was 7. I still have it, and it still works! The drumheads have continued to be a staple of the drum industry. I am honored that they have asked me to become an endorser/clinician, and their new Bass Drum head, "POWERSONIC", is an amazing invention. I am real particular when it comes to the thump of my bass drum, and this new head just Kiks!. I look forward to playing Remo for a long time, and so should you! www.remo.com

Like many of you, my first pair of sticks were Regal Tip, and I just switched to them because I am really excited about the new products and designs they are creating. The new 5AXW, and the “e” series tip are excellent, and I love the feel of the 3B. I signature stick is in the works, but it is a bit of a process, so be patient, it WILL be worth it!
The Safe hoop is the newest product on the market. It protects the edges, creating less impact, and it's also less impact to your hands. It feels wonderful to play. A huge difference than with regular hoops, and not as heavy and bulky as die cast hoops. It really makes the drum sing, creating a consistent tone, and fat sound. Plus, you can put Zero rings on the drum, and they are held in place with the overlapping hoop. It also gives the drums a great look! Check them out!

The Futz is definitely with me backstage before shows and clinics!  It feels great, and it helps get my foot into the groove! I also use it with my students at Drummers Collective.

When space and weight are an issue, I turn to the Traps A400 drum kit...compact, portable, great sound quality with a great "feel".  Traps...........maybe not the "only way to go".....but "the easiest way to go".
