Pat is known worldwide for his ability to provide enthusiastic, motivational, informative, and inspiring clinics. Pat does not do a "dig me" clinic, playing for 45 minutes and then asking, "any questions?"

Don't misunderstand...Pat does play...BUT, he also teaches and informs, showing attendees HOW to do those things that so inspire...and he does so with an easy going, friendly style that has endeared him to many drummers, pro's and hobbyists alike.

Clinic Overview

Pat's clinic has something for everyone A mixed audience of novices and pro's will benefit from the skills Pat will demonstrate. He will play excerpts from his DVD, "Hands, Grooves, & Fills".

• Hand Development : including exercises and Rudiment Combinations for coordination

• "Groovology": A history of some of the landmark grooves that inspired Pat in his development.
• Bass Drum Groove Variations : A series of Bass Drum Rhythms placed over Hand Exercises to develop coordination.
• Fill Ideas : A series of functional fills from simple, to complex, that Pat demonstrates slowly and in a musical context
• Musical Performances : Pat will play along with tracks from the DVD.

• Pat has performed recently at PASIC 2004 for the "Fundamentals" committee, and it was a great success. Pat invited many students to come up and play along on the "Go Kits" provided by Taye Drums..
• He also has taught master classes in Italy at Saint Louis College of Music in Rome. While in Italy, he also played to standing room audiences at STIX Music Center in Perugia, and La Cicala Music Store in Dragoni. Pat looks forward to going back soon!
• Pat has also teamed up with such artists over the years as Dennis Chambers and Terry Bozzio to provide "double drum excitement". Pat enjoys playing festivals and Drum Events around the world
