“Drumming and Teaching are my passion, and in truth, my mission in life, other than being a great husband and father. I treat my students with respect, and nurture them thru their journey on this amazing instrument. At times, I am the coach, pushing and pulling students thru a series of exercises or grooves, yet always encouraging with “tough love”. Other times, I am the history teacher, showing the roots of how the instrument evolved. Then, there is the philosopher, searching for the correct analogies that can help a student see another way of thinking. I am also a counselor, helping students navigate thru their musical careers and education decisions. Above and beyond, I have been where you are in my own drumming career, and it is because of my teachers and mentors that I am able to do what I do today” ~ Pat
Pat’s primary teaching location is at the world famous Drummers Collective in New York City. As a Full Time faculty member, he teaches there 4 days per week year around. Classes taught include:
